Can you withdraw your pension?
You can take money from your pension pot as and when you need it until it runs out. It’s up to you how much you take and when you take it. Each time you take a lump sum of money, 25% is tax-free. The rest is added to your other income and is taxable.

Can I withdraw my Royal London pension early?
Can I cash my plan in early? Your pension savings are locked in until you reach age 55. This will increase to age 57 in 2028. It may be possible for you to start taking your pension savings before age 55 if your health means you can no longer carry on working.
What is happening with LV takeover?
9 February 2022. LV= entered into merger discussions with Royal London at the start of the year. However, it has become clear to LV= that our different mutual models mean such a merger would not be in the best interests of LV= members. As a result, talks between the two companies have now ceased.
