Duties of a Live In CAREGiver

  • Contribute to a positive living environment to enhance the quality of life our Clients who have Dementia.
  • Personal Care – washing, dressing, personal care
  • Companionship – being a friend and having a chat
  • Activities – doing fun things together, hobbies and crafts?
  • Cooking healthy and nutritious food – also grocery shopping
  • Medication – collecting prescriptions, medication reminders
  • Home help such as cleaning – ensuring their home is tidy and spotless at all times
  • Accompany to social events and appointments, seeing family, friends etc

We are looking for people with kind, compassionate hearts who want to make a true difference to the quality of life for our clients to join our team in Newport as a Live In Care CAREGiver. As a Live In Care CAREGiver, you will live in a client's home and provide a variety of non-medical services to help them keep independent in their own home.

Live In Care experience1 year and or Experience as Domiciliary Carer/Care Home experience/Dementia Care

  • Ability to treat and care for clients and their property with dignity and respect
  • Being an excellent communicator/organised
  • Have great attention to detail
  • Good hygiene practice, including personal hygiene and a smart appearance

As a Live In Care CAREGiver, you will be provided with 3 meals a day or an allowance from the client, a separate room to stay and access to a TV and WiFi. In addition, we offer comprehensive training and support.
