NFU Mutual’ s Agency in Deddington, near Banbury is recruiting for a full time Customer Service Adviser to join our growing, successful team.

As a Customer Service Adviser within our growing team, you will play a key role in the success of an established and expanding local business, contributing to the smooth running of the office and ensuring that our customers are at the heart of everything we do. Providing a great customer service, you will be the first port of call for our customers whether over the phone or during their visit to our offices in Deddington. You will handle enquiries, undertake insurance transactions and general sales tasks with a ‘can-do’ proactive attitude.
Handle general customer enquiries, policy alterations and renewals
Initiate cross-selling opportunities for
Handle premium collection
Obtain customer appointments for our Financial Advisor
Develop and sustain effective working relationships with customers, all members of the Agency and NFU Mutual staff
Work within the Compliance Framework required by the Company / Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
Acquire and maintain knowledge of NFU Mutual General Insurance products. Full training and support will be provided
Ideally (but not essential) we are looking for a person who has:
Sales and customer service experience
Be a confident & effective communicator, both written and verbal.
Have good IT skills.
Enjoy problem solving and work as part of small team.
Have a flexible and open attitude.
Be prompt, reliable and trustworthy.
Be organised and able to work to deadlines as required, manage your own workload and prioritise accordingly.

Full time Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm
Salary range: £18k to £25k depending on experience.
31 days holiday including bank holidays
Maths & English GCSE (or equivalent) at Grade C or above (Grade 4 or above)
