Registered Care Manager - Belfast

Provident Healthcare NI are looking to recruit a Registered Care Manager who will be responsible for one of our branches in Northern Ireland

The Registered Manager is to manage the day to day activities of the agency, accountable for meeting the targets defined in the business plan and ensuring full compliance with quality and legislative standards.

Please note that this is a new branch.

The right candidate need to have the knowledge of setting up a new branch and making it compliant with the requirements of RQIA

The right needs to have a vast amount of experience in the health and social care arena in Northern Ireland.

You need to be someone who has a very rich network in the health and social care industry

Major responsibilities:

  • Business development and marketing activities to identify and secure new business.
  • Regular client visits/contact to retain and develop additional business with existing clients.
  • Development of a recruitment strategy to match the business needs.
  • Performance management of agency staff.
  • Ensure efficient and timely placement of nursing and care staff.
  • Day to day management of the agency, including the maintenance of accurate records.
  • Providing reports/information for Managing director as required.
  • To meet objectives set.
  • Compliance with ISO, and RQIA requirements/legislation..
  • On call duties as agreed

The Manager will have recruitment experience. Knowledge of the health and social care market in Northern Ireland would be advantageous. The Manager must be deemed suitable by RQIA as a 'fit' person and Qualified to be a registered person

Working week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm with an hours break each day. In addition you are required to cover on-call one or two weekends a month
