We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Accommodation Administrator to join our Cowgate team.
This varied role will provide full customer & administration service covering our busy site in Edinburgh.
- Provide a polite and courteous customer service to all visitors and student residents either in person or by phone
- Ensure clear and accurate information is provided to the public or student residents
- Remain customer focused and deal creatively with queries and issues
- Ensure all communication is in the most appropriate format and is polite and provided in a timely manner
Ensure information displayed in reception is kept tidy and up to date
Ensure that student and property files are maintained, and all documents filed and are easily identified or accessible
Record and log parcels for students, ensuring accurate records are maintained of parcel collection
Operation of the online tenant booking system
Greet students, visitors and potential bookers in a professional manner, appropriately determining their requirements and managing their expectations
To be a key point of contact for promoting and developing the lettings at site
Supporting Building Manager with running the building.
Be an effective communicator both verbally and in writing and be able to use a range of communication tools
Have a confident and polite telephone and face to face manner
Develop rapport with potential and existing customers
Remain positive and constructive under pressure
Achieve constructive conclusion, even in difficult situations
Rise to the challenge of doing a difficult task
Show confidence in own ability and expertise
Continually strive to improve one’s knowledge, skills, and abilities to produce best results
Organised and methodical with good attention to detail
Plan and prioritise to maximise efficiency and meet deadlines

Experience and Expertise in the Role
Good typing skills and be proficient in the use of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Experience in a reception/office or sales/promotional environment is essential
