We are looking for a talented Communications and Media Manager to join our Marketing and Communications team. As part of the Department of External Relations, the team is responsible for the overall marketing, communications and brand management activities.
This is a wide-ranging strategic and operational role that leads and manages all functions of internal, external and corporate communications at the University. The role requires excellent copywriting, management and organisational skills and a proactive, can-do attitude.
Actively engaging with academic and professional staff and students, you will be creating relevant, accurate content that showcases student work and strengthens the reputation of our brand with internal and external audiences across all our channels. You will be working closely with and regularly attend meetings with the members of the Executive Team, specifically with the Director of Executive Relations. You will have excellent organisational skills and be able to demonstrate your ability to develop first-rate collaborative working relationships at all levels, internally and externally.
Social media and digital marketing knowledge is key to the role together with the traditional communicational skills and expertise.
