Salary: Circa £65k per annum (subject to experience) plus London Weighting if applicable.
Are you an experienced and insightful Corporate Finance professional, who can provide senior level support to the Chief Finance Officer and Executive Leadership team whilst leading and implementing organisational change?
We are looking for an engaging and influential Senior Finance leader to play a key role with a material influence over the way the Finance organisation provides support and drives a focus on enterprise value.
As ‘Head of Corporate Finance’, you will deliver and improve financial planning and analysis processes and drive the implementation of changes to create an increasingly efficient and effective function; improving accuracy, insight, accountability and ultimately improved financial performance.
Reporting to the Director of Financial Planning and Performance, you will also lead the provision of finance business partnering support to the corporate functions providing insightful financial information to drive better decision making
In this largely autonomous role, you will act as trusted sounding board across the enabling functions and corporate centre providing an appropriate balance of challenge and support on strategic and operational issues including transformation and project initiatives.
This is a unique opportunity to at a senior level within our large, diverse organisation. You will utilise your blend of skills to play a leading role in the financial planning and performance of the world’s largest humanitarian movement.
*please note that whilst location is flexible, you must have the ability to travel to London as business needs dictate*
This role might be for you if…
You’re a Qualified Accountant (CCAB recognised body) with leadership experience in a financial planning and analysis function. You’re able to support by providing both leadership and operational ‘hands-on’ involvement.
You’re an effective communicator, able to build, develop and maintain relationships and influence and establish credibility at a senior level. You will have experience of Senior Finance Business Partnering with executive leaders, providing financial support at director level within a complex finance function.
You’re able to think proactively and strategically, managing and delivering change, specifically enhancing financial budgeting and forecasting processes – you can plan, organise, lead and develop innovative solutions to problems that reflect strategic choices.
