Administrator – Birmingham Community Nutrition
Are you interested in health and looking for varied role in a friendly working environment? This job will be rewarding for efficient, well-motivated and enthusiastic team players.
The successful candidates will be reliable, flexible and will work efficiently without direct supervision. They will have excellent organisational and communication skills enabling good relationships to be built with patients, colleagues and other departments within the Trust. An essential working knowledge of Windows based computer packages; in particular Word, Excel and Outlook, are required. Use of the RiO patient administration system would be an advantage.
You will join Birmingham Community Nutrition, providing a range of administration and secretarial support to the clinical Dietetic teams, including managing clinic bookings and talking to patients over the telephone.
Birmingham Community Nutrition is one of the largest community dietetic services in the country and has a strong national and local profile and a reputation for innovation and partnership working. The department includes a range of professionals including Dietitians, Nutritionists, Psychologists, Educators and Administrators. The service provides general clinics as well as a range of specialist clinics throughout the city including; weight management, paediatrics, diabetes, nutrition support and gastroenterology. The Birmingham Community Nutrition service also delivers training and education programmes and carries out domiciliary visits.
Your development will be supported through regular 1:1 reviews, an annual appraisal, team meetings and access to relevant training as identified.
We are looking to recruit two administrators, one full time working 37.5 hours per week and one part time working 32 hours per week.
