Geek Retreat is a combination comic book store and coffee shop. We stock merchandise relating to “geek culture” such as comics, graphic novels, figures and memorabilia; In store we also supply hot and cold drinks, snacks and a fun relaxed atmosphere.

How much does geek retreat cost?
The cost to you after your shop is open and trading, is a flat 8% franchise fee, which is due for payment on a monthly basis. This 8% is based on your turnover, not your profit.
How many geek retreats are there in the UK?
The “geek culture” retailer, gaming cafe and events hub has more than 50 shops across the UK and is due to open its first space in Bristol soon. Each Geek Retreat hosts numerous events including trading card games, Pokémon club and meet-up groups.
When did geek retreat open?
In 2013, Geek Retreat’s founder, Stephen Walsh, opened the doors of our first store in Glasgow, it was only supposed to be a fun place to play ‘geeky’ games and grab a milkshake, but it quickly turned into something far more meaningful than we ever imagined.

The cafes, which run on a franchise basis, stock ‘geek culture’ merchandise such as comics, posters, clothing, figures and memorabilia as well as games and trading cards.
