Who own forest holidays?

Forest Holidays was founded by the Forestry Commission in the 1970s to meet the growing demand for sensitively placed accommodation in forest locations where people can enjoy our forests. Although Forest Holidays today is an independent company, it is still part owned by Forestry England.

What do I need to bring to Forest Holidays?

What time is check in at Forest Holidays?

You can check-in between 4pm and 8pm on the day of arrival. Check-out is before 10am on the morning of departure. For a supplementary fee your stay can be extended with early check-in (2pm) or a late check-out (12pm).

What is flexible amendment?

Flexible Amendment gives you the option to move your break with us up to eight days before the start of your log cabin holiday. You can add Flexible Amendment when you book your break with us online or over the phone. Flexible Amendment is calculated per holiday.

How many forest holidays locations are there in the UK?

When you book with Forest Holidays you can choose from 11 UK holiday destinations surrounded by natural beauty, fresh air and wide open spaces. Perfect if you need something to look forward to.

Can I cancel my forest holiday?

If your cancellation is more than 6 weeks before the start of your holiday you will forfeit the deposit paid. If the cancellation is less than 6 weeks before the start of your holiday you will incur the full cost of the holiday.

Can you take dogs on Forest Holidays?

Enjoy a break with the whole family, our pet-friendly holidays are popular and over half of our cabins allow pets. You just need to ensure that you book a pet-friendly log cabin and you’ll be able to add your pets when booking.

Can I take my cat to Forest Holidays?

What pets are allowed in the Forest Holiday cabins? Our pet-friendly cabins welcome well-behaved pets and many guests bring their dogs and house cats. Approximately half of our cabins at each location are pet-friendly and suitable for your furry friends.
